Lance  Stroheker

               

 Lance was born in 1978 at Pittsfield Illinois he developed an interest in art at the age of 13.  And at the age of 17 Lance received the first recognition of his work when he was presented with the Jackson Award. After graduating high school in 1997 lance attended Lincoln College in Illinois to study art.

                                                                                         

In 1999 Lance had his frist show dedicated to his art work. After achieving a degree in fine arts Lance was attending SIUE to farther his study of art.  It was at SIUE that Lance first worked with hot glass. Lance at once fell in love with the medium and after four semesters of glass blowing he left college to work full time at a hot glass studio.

          

Since working at Clarksville Glassworks Lance’s work has received awards from the Hannabil Art Council and was displayed in two St.  Louis galleries for the International glass Art Society conference in 2006. Lance continues to pursue his love for art and glass at Clarksville Glassworks.
